To remove the motherboard, first remove the optical drive...

...the stand cover...

...the rear cover...

...and the motherboard EMI shield.

Once the motherboard has been exposed, remove the thermal module...

...the CPU...

...the wireless LAN card...

...the TV tuner card...

...the TV tuner bracket...

...and system memory from the motherboard.

Detach all remaining system connectors from the motherboard.

Remove the two remaining screws securing the motherboard to the PC.   Two screws

Lift the motherboard off of the PC.

Place the motherboard in an antistatic bag.   Antistatic bag

The motherboard has a small hole in two of its corners.

  Peg holes in motherboard

The peg holes fit over two locator pegs on the middle frame.

 

Fit the motherboard over its locator pegs.

Replace the two screws for the motherboard.   Two screws

Reattach all system connectors.

Replace the system memory, the TV tuner bracket, the TV tuner card, wireless LAN card, the CPU, the main blower, and the thermal module.
