To remove the rear cover, first remove the hard drive...

Detach the four screws for the rear cover.

  The screws.

Pry up on the top edge of the optical drive bay area and the cover should pop free. Lift the cover off the unit.

The rear cover has several tabs along its outer edge...   Registration slot in an SO-DIMM

...That fit under the outer lips of the front bezel and the side caps.

On the top edge the tabs fit into slots on the front bezel.   Top slots on the chassis.

To replace the rear cover, align the cover onto the unit and press the cover firmly until all tabs have snapped into place.
