To remove the power switch, first remove the optical drive... (Roll mouse over image)

...and the rear cover. (Roll mouse over image)

removal

Detach the screw for the power switch.

Carefully pull the power switch out slightly. (Roll mouse over image)

Detach the connector from the power switch...

...to fully remove the power switch.

installation

There is a hole on the power switch...

...that aligns over a peg on the front bezel.

To replace the power switch, first reattach the connector the board.

Place the power switch back onto its peg. (Roll mouse over image)

Make sure the power switch connector is routed underneath the middle frame.

Reattach the screw to secure the power switch.
