before removal

To remove the touchscreen controller board, first remove the optical drive... (Roll mouse over image)

...the stand cover... (Roll mouse over image)

...and the rear cover. (Roll mouse over image)

removal

Detach the three conectors from the touch panel controller board.

Remove the two screws for the board.

Pull the board out of the unit. (Roll mouse over image)

installation

To replace the touch screen controller board, place the board on the middle frame. (Roll mouse over image)

Secure it to the frame with two screws.

Replace the three connectors to the board.
