Webcam removal

Before you begin: First remove the USB dongle cap, the right rear cap, the left rear cap, the stand, and the T rear cover.

Steps

1. Detach the two screws for the webcam holder.
2. Pull the webcam holder partially out of the unit.
3. Detach the connector from the webcam board.
4. Remove the two screws securing the board to the holder.
5. Pull off the webcam board from the holder.

Webcam replacement

Steps

1. To replace the webcam, place the webcam board onto its holder.
2. Secure the board to the holder with two small screws.
3. Replace the connector to the board.
4. Place the webcam holder board-side down onto the front bezel.
5. Replace the two screws to secure the webcam assembly to the PC.
