Volume Control Board removal

Before you begin: First remove the USB dongle cap, the left rear cap and partially remove the left side cap.

Steps

1. Remove the connector from the top of the volume control board.
2. Detach the two screws that secure the board to the left side cap.
3. Remove the board from the cap.

Volume Control Board replacement

Steps

1. The volume control board has two small holes that fit over locator pegs on the left side cap.
2. To replace the volume control board, align the holes over the pegs on the cap.
3. Replace the two screws to secure the volume control board to the cap.
4. Replace the connector to the top of the board.
