System Fan removal

Before you begin: First remove the USB dongle cap, the right rear cap, the left rear cap, the stand, the T rear cover, the left side cap and the motherboard shield.

Steps

1. Detach the system fan connector from the motherboard.
2. Remove the three screws for the system fan.
3. Pull the fan out of the unit.

System Fan replacement

Steps

1. To replace the system fan, thread the fan connector back under the hinge slider
2. Place the fan onto its standoffs on the middle frame.
3. Replace the three screws foro the system fan.
4. Replace the fan connector to the motherboard.
