Stand removal

Steps

1. First remove the stand cover.
2. To do so, use a flat headed tool to carefully pry up the edge on the lower inner part of the cover.
3. Pull the stand cover off the stand.
4. Detach the four screws securing the stand to the rear cover.
5. Shift the stand up slightly to pull it off of the PC.

Stand replacement

Steps

1. There are two small slots on the stand that hook over two small hooked pegs on the hinge slider.
2. To replace the stand, align the slots over the pegs and swing the stand down.
3. When correctly placed the stand should stay in place without screws
4. Replace the four screws for the stand.
5. The stand cover has rails along its inner edges that fit into channels on the stand.
6. To replace the stand cover, align the rails into the channels on both sides of the stand.
7. Press the stand cover down until it snaps into place.
