Power Switch Board removal

Before you begin: First remove the USB dongle cap, the right rear cap, the left rear cap, the stand, the T rear cover, the left side cap, and the right side cap. Remove the optical drive eject button, and partially remove the rear IO bracket and the webcam. Remove the USB dongle and the rear cover.

Steps

1. Pry out on the tab securing the power switch to the bezel.
2. Lift the switch partially out of the unit.
3. Detach the connector to the power switch board to fully remove the board from the PC.

Power Switch Board replacement

Steps

1. There is a slot on the power switch board that a hooked tab on the front bezel fits over.
2. To replace the power switch board, first reattach the connector to the board.
   
3. Slide the board down until the tab on the bezel snaps onto the slot on the board.
