Optical Drive Eject Button removal

Before you begin: First remove the USB dongle cap, the right rear cap, and the right side cap.

Steps

1. Detach the screw securing the eject button to the PC.
2. Pull the eject button cable out of its cable guide next to the optical drive.
3. Pull the board out slightly.
4. Detach the cable from the rear of the board to fully remove the board.

Steps

1. To replace the optical drive eject button, first replace the connector to the back of the board.
2. Push the cable into its cable guide next to the optical drive.
3. Align the screw hole on the board with the screw hole on the side of the PC.
4. Hold it in place while replacing the screw to ensure it stays in position.
