Hinge Slider removal

Before you begin: First remove the USB dongle cap, the right rear cap, the left rear cap, the stand, the T rear cover, the left side cap, and the right side cap. Remove the optical drive eject button, and partially remove the rear IO bracket and webcam. Remove the USB dongle, the rear cover, the motherboard shield, and the thermal module.

Steps

1. Detach the 8 screws for the hinge slider.
2. Pull the hinge slider off of the PC.

Steps

1. To replace the hinge slider, align the screw holes on the slider over the screw holes on the middle frame.
2. Reattach the 8 screws for the hinge slider.
