Wireless antenna removal

Before you begin: Remove the stand, optical drive door, rear cover, minor bracket, and control board. Follow the LCD touch panel assembly removal instructions up to the removal of the main bracket with attached components from the front bezel.

Note: This procedure applies to either left or right antenna.

1. Use a flat-bladed tool to pry the adhesive backed antenna board from the front bezel.
2. Carefully peel off the grounding tape that secures the antenna to the front bezel.
3. Lift the wireless antenna off of the front bezel.

Wireless antenna replacement

1. Place the wireless antenna into the slot on the front bezel and press to secure it in place.
2. Fold the grounding tape onto the plastic surfaces on the front bezel and press it in place.
