RTC battery removal
Before you begin: Remove the stand, optical drive door, rear cover, and minor bracket.
- Press the retaining clip with a flat-bladed tool to release the battery.
- Lift the battery out of the socket.

- Press the battery into the socket with the plus (+) sign facing up.
