WLAN Card removal

Before you begin: Remove the rear cover and the EMI shield.

Steps

1. The wireless LAN antenna connector will be removed from the card as part of the procedure to remove the EMI shield.
2. Detach the screw from the card.
3. The card will pop up. Pull out the card.

WLAN Card replacement

Steps

1. To replace the wireless LAN mini-card, angle the card into its slot at a 45 degree angle and press down.
2. Hold it down while replacing the screw.
3. Replace the antenna connector to the card after replacing the EMI shield.
