System Fan removal

Before you begin: Remove the rear cover.

Steps

1. Detach the system fan connector from the motherboard.
2. Remove the four screws for the system fan.
3. Pull the fan out of the unit.

System Fan replacement

Steps

1. To replace the system fan, align the four holes on the fan with the four standoffs on the base pan.
2. Replace the screws.
3. Reattach the connector to the motherboard.
